SHIFT GMC Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the Krakathoom and PublishMyComics.com platform, which hosts independent creator storefronts. Purchases made on any storefront are processed by SHIFT GMC Ltd on the creator's behalf.

All content remains the intellectual property of the creator.
Prices are set by the creator and shown at checkout including any applicable taxes. Shipping costs (for physical orders) are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before an order is confirmed. If a correction materially changes your order total we will contact you before proceeding.
We accept payment by debit/credit card (processed by Stripe) and PayPal. Payment is taken in full at the time of order. Your card details are processed securely by Stripe or PayPal and are never stored on our servers.
Digital purchases are available in your Digital Library immediately after payment is confirmed. You will need a free Krakathoom account (registered with the same email address used at checkout) to access them.
Physical copies are printed and dispatched after your order is placed. Estimated delivery times are:
These are estimates only. Delays caused by postal services, customs, or circumstances beyond our control do not entitle you to a refund where delivery is eventually made.
Physical orders: If your order arrives damaged or significantly not as described, contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Digital purchases: Because digital content is made available immediately upon payment, we are generally unable to offer refunds once access has been granted. EU/EEA customers should refer to Section 8 below regarding their right of withdrawal and how it is affected by immediate digital delivery. If you believe a purchase was made fraudulently or in error please contact us as soon as possible and we will review your case.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national implementing legislation.
Physical orders (pre-printed / own-stock copies): You may withdraw from an order for a pre-printed physical copy within 14 days of the day you (or a person you nominate) receive(s) the goods. To exercise this right, notify us before the deadline at hello@krakathoom.com. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods, and we will refund the original order value (excluding outbound shipping) within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of return dispatch, whichever is earlier.
Print-on-demand (POD) orders: POD titles are printed individually to fulfil each specific order and are not held as pre-existing stock. These goods are therefore made to the consumer's specifications within the meaning of Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and are excluded from the right of withdrawal. If your POD order arrives damaged or materially not as described, Section 7 (Returns & Refunds) still applies.
Digital content — waiver of right of withdrawal: Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
By completing the purchase of a digital comic and accessing, streaming, or downloading the content through your Digital Library, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal from that moment. This waiver applies from the point at which you first access your Digital Library content following purchase.
If you do not wish to waive your right of withdrawal, do not access your Digital Library until the 14-day withdrawal period has expired. In that case you may withdraw from the purchase by contacting us at hello@krakathoom.com within 14 days of the purchase date, and we will arrange a full refund.

Orders for physical copies may be cancelled before they enter production. Once printing has started a cancellation may not be possible. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel.
Digital orders cannot be cancelled once you have accessed the content (see Section 8).
A free Krakathoom account is required to access your Digital Library and track orders. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
All comics sold on this platform remain the copyright of their respective creators. Purchasing a comic gives you the right to read it for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any purchased content without the creator's express permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
